1975年 京都生まれ。書家・篆刻家。幼少より文字の中の「ことば」と触れ合いながら書と篆刻に親しむ。日本書展など入選多数。1996年よりギャラリーアンフェール（京都）やギャラリーシティライト（京都）などで個展を主に活動を続ける一方、1997、98年にはフランス・トゥールーズにてライブパフォーマンスを行う。作品集として篆刻と散文を組み合わせた「静物画-篆刻ノート」（平凡社）などがある。
主な受賞として1985年 日本書道学舎響誌上展特別賞、1994年 高知県安芸市立書道美術館全国書展入選、1995-2001年日本書道研究所日本書展入選、2000-2001年美濃和紙の里会館和紙画展アート部門入選。
主な作品として篆刻作品集「ここ」（アトリエ空中線造本、1999年）、「静物画−篆刻ノート−」（アトリエ空中線造本、平凡社、2001年）、書作品集「風街」（アトリエ空中線造本、2002年）、「石の遊び」（アトリエ空中線造本、平凡社、2003年）、新光社雑誌「アイデア」特別付録『枕と燈台』（篆刻・文、誠文堂、2003年）などがある。

Born in Kyoto in 1975, as a child Kasetsu encountered the language of text in calligraphy and seal engraving and has shown her work at the Japan Calligraphy Exhibition and numerous other exhibits. Since 1996 her activities have focused primarily on solo exhibitions at sites such as Gallery Enfer and Gallery City Light, both in Kyoto. In 1997 and 1998 she also conducted live performances in Toulouse, France. Collections of her work include Seibutsuga tenkoku noto (Still Life and Seal Engraving Notebook), a mixture of seal engravings and prose published by Heibonsha.
