1958年 静岡県生まれ。1982年 東京芸術大学美術学部デザイン科視覚伝達デザイン卒業。1988年 コスチューム・アーティストとしての仕事を始め、以降野田秀樹の舞台衣装等、広告、雑誌、テレビコマーシャル、ステージ、映画などの衣装を制作。主な受賞に、1984年 日本グラフィック展・奨励賞。1995年 毎日ファッション大賞・新人賞、資生堂奨励賞受賞。 2004年 『空想万年サーカス団』（阪本順治作、串田和美演出）舞台衣装、NHK教育テレビ「からだであそぼ」衣装セット担当、「オール・オブ・ミッキーマウス展」参加、4月-5月ギャラリー数奇にて「ひびのこづえ展」開催、8月子供オペラ「ジークフリートの冒険 指環をとりもどせ」（マティアス・フォン・シュテークマン演出）、野田秀樹演出「走れメルス 少女の唇からはダイナマイト！」（シアターコクーン）などで舞台衣装を手がけ活躍中。

Born in Shizuoka Prefecture, 1958. Kozue Hibino graduated with a degree in visual communications from the design department at the Tokyo Art University in 1982. She began working as a costume artist in 1988, and since then has designed costumes for movies, magazines, tv commercials, advertisements, and stage directors such as Hideki Noda. Some of her notable awards include the ﾒJapanese Graphics Display Promotion Prizeﾓ which she received in 1984, and the ﾒDaily Fashion-newcomerﾓ first prize in 1995.
This year(2004) she has designed clothing for the ﾒEternal Fantasy Circusﾓ troupe, NHK education televisionﾕs ﾒLetﾕs playﾓ and ﾒAll Over Mickey Mouse.ﾓ In April and May, ﾒKozue Hibinoﾓ displays have been featured at various galleries. In August, she designed costumes for a childrenﾕs opera ﾒAdventures of Siegfried,ﾓ and in December (the time of the Obusession talk) is currently working on costumes for Hideki Nodaﾕs play ﾒRun Mels, The Dynamite from a Girlﾕs Lips.ﾓ
