1999年 英セインズベリー日本藝術研究所設立と同時に所長就任。米ハーバード大学博士課程修了(美術史)。大英博物館などで日本美術展のキュレーター等を務める。専門は日本と東アジアの陶磁器、考古学。

Nicole Coolidge Rousmaniere received
her BA in 1986 in Archaeology, and PhD in 1998 in Art History from
Harvard University. Her research interests are ceramics, archaeology
and photography. Her publications include essays and catalogue entries
in Japan's Golden Age, Momoyama and Edo: Most recently she curated
a major loan exhibition of Japanese art at the British Museum and
edited the accompanying catalogue, Kazari: Decoration and Display
in Japan, 15th-19th Centuries (2002).
