慶應義塾大学経済学部卒業後、富士写真フイルム（人事担当、事業戦略担当）を経て渡英。 英国国立ランカスタ−大学経営大学院システム・情報経営学博士課程修了。 帰国後、産能大学、慶應義塾大学助教授、（株）慶應学術事業会代表取締役（CEO）、（慶應）丸の内シティキャンパス初代校長、同大学院政策・メディア研究科教授、東京大学先端科学技術研究センター特任教授（知財マネジメントスクール校長役）を経て、07年より現職。九州大学、放送大学客員教授、他。

現在、東京秋葉原の再開発プロデュースや「ロボット運動会」等の実践活動を進めている。

研究分野は、問題学・構想学、コンセプトワーク、知財マネジメント／技術経営論、他
実践領域は、先端人財育成、産学連携・学術事業プロデュース、他。

[Profile]
After graduating from the Keio University School of Economics worked at Fujifilm (HR manager, Business Strategy manager) then traveled to England. Completed his Ph.D. course in Systems-Information Administration at the Lancaster University Graduate School of Economics. After returning to Japan he was an assistant professor at Sanno University and Keio University, CEO of Keio Academic Enterprise Co, Ltd., first principal of the (Keio) Marunouchi City Campus, professor of the graduate Policy-Media course at the same university, specially-appointed professor (principal, intellectual property management school) at the Tokyo University Advanced Science and Technology Research Center, and from 2007 holds his current positions. Kyushu University, University of the Air visiting professor, etc.

Currently is producing the Tokyo Akihabara redevelopment and promoting such practical activities as the "Robot Athletic Meet."

His fields of research are problem study, concept study, concept work, intellectual property management/technology administration, etc.
His practical areas are advanced human resources education, industrial cooperation-academic enterprise production, etc.
