東京生まれ。 故藤本敏夫／歌手加藤登紀子の次女。
2001年に歌手としてデビュー。
これまでに５枚のアルバムCD、５枚のシングルCDをリリース。 その存在感あふれる「声」で各地にファンの和を広げ、NHKみんなのうたや人気ゲームソフトの主題歌を唄うなど活躍。 海外ではキューバの音楽祭、サンフランシスコでの世界平和音楽賞などに参加。

2010年4月にnew シングルCD「あいをよる おもいをつむぐ」をリリース。
世代を超え、いま、全ての人の心に届く唄として，話題となっている。
現在は２児の母となり、家族と共に自然豊かな里山「鴨川自然王国」で、農も取り入れたスローライフを送り、ラジオのパーソナリティー（ラジオ関西）や、NHKテレビ「産地発！たべもの一直線」・NHK-BS2「Mi/Do/Ri」レギュラー出演等も務めながらライブ中心に活躍中。

2007年から土に生きることの幸せを伝えるため「種まきライブツアー」を全国で展開中。

Born in Tokyo. Second daughter of the late Toshio Fujimoto and singer Tokiko Kato.
Made her debut as a singer in 2001.
She has released a total of five CD albums and five CD singles. Her voice overflowing with presence widens her circle of fans across the country, and she has appeared on NHK's Minna no Uta and performed the theme song for a popular video game. She has even participated in a Cuban music festival and the World Peace Music Awards in San Francisco.

In April of 2010 she released a new single "Ai o yoru, Omoi o tsumugu."
It is making headlines as a song that transcends generations and reaches everyone's heart.
She is a mother of two, and together with her family she farms and lives a "slow life" in the nature-rich mountain fields of the "Kamogawa Natural Kingdom." While working as a radio personality (Radio Kansai) and a regular guest on NHK Television's "Sanchi Hatsu! Tabemono Icchokusen" and NHK-BS2's "Mi/Do/Ri" she bases her activity around live appearances.

She has been working on her "Scattering Seeds live tour" since 2007 to tell people the joys of living with the earth.
