In June, the plum trees hang with fresh green fruit and
the rainy season (tsuyu = 梅雨
= literally, "plum rain") gets underway so the
star of this month's cocktail is . . . the plum! Using
local plums pickled in shochu (a clear distilled spirit)
back in 1993, we've concocted a special drink wishing
a happy tsuyu to you. |
